Role Overview
We are hiring for multiple positions within the International Affairs vertical. Candidates will be involved in policy advocacy, trade facilitation, stakeholder engagement, event management, and international collaborations. The role demands strong research acumen, excellent communication, and a passion for India’s global economic positioning.
Key Responsibilities
🌍 Strategic Research & Policy Tracking
- Monitor global trends in international trade, diplomacy, and economic partnerships.
- Identify strategic opportunities for India’s international business growth and analyze bilateral/multilateral developments.
🤝 Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Indian companies, foreign missions, and government bodies.
- Interface with the Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, DPIIT, and Investment Promotion Agencies.
📊 Event Conceptualization & Execution
- Plan and organize business forums, B2B meetings, webinars, investor roundtables, and trade delegations.
- Prepare concept notes, event briefs, backgrounders, and post-event reports in coordination with internal teams.
📣 Communication & Representation
- Develop social media content (e.g., LinkedIn posts, Twitter updates) and coordinate with FICCI’s digital communications team.
- Represent FICCI in official delegations, bilateral forums, and regional economic dialogues.
💼 Project & Membership Management
- Raise sponsorships and funding for events and initiatives.
- Support the membership development strategy, onboarding new organizations and servicing existing members.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Postgraduate in International Business, Economics, Public Policy, MBE, or MBA.
- Experience: 2–15 years in international trade, policy advocacy, international relations, or economic diplomacy.
- Proven ability in stakeholder management, cross-border collaboration, and trade event planning.
Key Competencies
- Sound knowledge of international economic affairs and Indian government structures.
- Strong research, analytical thinking, and content development skills.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal English proficiency.
- Self-motivated team player with an eye for detail and a solution-driven mindset.
- Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
