Role Overview
As the Retail District Manager for Nike Partner Stores in Delhi, you’ll take ownership of managing a dynamic portfolio of mono-brand partner retail stores. This senior leadership role is ideal for someone with a passion for retail excellence, the ability to lead high-performing teams, and the strategic foresight to grow business operations in a competitive and evolving market.
You’ll serve as a cross-functional leader — influencing everything from in-store experience and visual merchandising to operational readiness and performance analytics — all while ensuring Nike’s premium brand promise is consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire store leadership teams across multiple Nike Partner locations to drive business outcomes and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage execution of Nike’s retail strategy across the partner fleet; develop local tactics to improve profitability, customer engagement, and market presence.
- Own the Fleet Review Process and translate insights into action plans that enhance store operations, employee performance, and customer service standards.
- Champion retail service excellence, seamlessly integrating new services and operational innovations in collaboration with store ops, training, and brand teams.
- Continuously assess fleet performance and marketplace dynamics; provide actionable weekly reporting to Nike’s Southeast Asia & India leadership.
- Partner with merchandising, retail brand, planning, real estate, and other internal functions to implement successful seasonal rollouts, promotions, and initiatives.
- Lead in-store visits 3–4 times a week, ensuring operational excellence, visual consistency, and team readiness across the region.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Retail, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail management, including store leadership and district-level oversight.
- Deep understanding of evolving retail business models and customer behavior trends.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of building cross-functional, high-impact relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, particularly in high-stakes decision-making environments.
- Proven experience managing large retail teams and delivering results in a fast-paced, omnichannel environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory (up to 80–90% of the time).
