Position Overview

Deloitte is seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-driven Analyst / Associate Analyst to join its Quality Risk and Regulations team supporting the Belgium region. As part of the USI NSE Shared Services, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding Deloitte’s independence and mitigating client risks by conducting engagement reviews, managing conflict checks, and supporting regulatory compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engagement teams to complete Engagement Acceptance cases in Deloitte Risk Management Systems (DRMS).
  • Handle incoming opportunities and complete conflict checks to identify potential risk or independence issues.
  • Search internal databases and external websites to verify client relationships, affiliations, and potential conflicts of interest.
  • Respond to daily queries related to regulatory changes, client engagements, and risk exposure.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports using SAP, Excel, and internal tools to evaluate administrator performance and data quality.
  • Act as a point of contact for legislative updates and policy implementations impacting client service.
  • Support administrative functions such as document handling, client communication, and escalation email management.
  • Work closely with internal risk, legal, and compliance teams across the Deloitte network.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate or Postgraduate with 2–3 years of relevant corporate or compliance experience.
  • Prior experience in KYC, client onboarding, or regulatory research is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate level or higher).
  • Strong understanding of corporate structure, independence policies, and risk management processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential data.

Preferred Attributes

  • Background in professional services or legal/compliance teams.
  • Familiarity with conflict check processes, risk policies, or client acceptance procedures.
  • Experience with ERP tools (SAP preferred).
