Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled and driven QA Lead to take the reins on quality assurance across our growing suite of products. In this role, you’ll lead the QA function, build scalable testing strategies, and ensure our platform meets the highest standards. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Guide and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and high standards
- Manage team capacity, project timelines, and quality goals
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews to support growth
QA Strategy & Execution
- Design and roll out QA frameworks for both manual and automated testing
- Drive automation using tools like Serenity BDD, Playwright, and Cucumber
- Establish clear testing guidelines across the development lifecycle
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to align QA within CI/CD pipelines
- Support API and UI testing using modern frameworks
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hard-to-find bugs and edge cases
Metrics & Reporting
- Track key quality metrics to measure QA effectiveness
- Deliver actionable insights and risk reports to stakeholders
- Continuously assess and optimize QA tools and processes
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Hands-on experience with Serenity BDD, Playwright, and Cucumber
- Strong test automation background
- Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar scripting languages
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, S3)
- Experience testing mobile apps (React Native, Expo)
- Background in hospitality or F&B technology
