About the Role

Our sports academy is looking for a skilled and passionate PE Football Coach to join our friendly and professional team. This role is a great fit for a qualified Physical Education teacher with a football coaching specialization who wants to take on additional coaching hours alongside their main job. You will work with children and youth of varying skill levels, helping them grow both as players and as individuals.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan & Organize Sessions
  Design and deliver football training programs that match the abilities of your players. Adapt sessions to cater to both beginners and more experienced young athletes.

• Teach Skills & Tactics
  Apply PE teaching methods and proven football techniques to improve player performance. Focus on dribbling, passing, shooting, positioning, fitness, and tactical awareness.

• Encourage Team Spirit
  Promote teamwork, fair play, and respect among all players. Create a supportive and motivating environment that builds both confidence and discipline.

• Track Progress
  Assess and monitor the development of each player over time. Provide feedback that is constructive, encouraging, and tailored to individual needs.

• Maintain Safety Standards
  Ensure all activities are carried out in line with safety guidelines. Always check the training area, equipment, and conditions before each session to prevent injuries.

• Communicate Effectively
  Maintain open and professional communication with parents, players, and other academy staff. Keep everyone informed about player progress, upcoming events, and session plans.

What We’re Looking For

• Essential Qualifications

  • Physical Education teaching certification.

  • Specialization in football coaching.

• Experience

  • Previous work as a football coach, ideally with children or youth teams.

  • Strong understanding of football skills, strategies, and fitness training.

• Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

  • Positive and energetic approach to coaching.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire players of all abilities.

• Other Requirements

  • Must hold a valid visa with sponsorship to work in the UAE.

  • Should be currently working as a PE teacher or have relevant experience.

  • Able to travel to Khalifa City for work.

Work Environment

You will be coaching in a well-equipped sports facility in Khalifa City, working alongside experienced trainers and academy staff. Training groups will consist of children and teenagers with varied skill levels, so adaptability and patience are key.

As sessions take place in the evening, this position can easily fit around another teaching or coaching role.
