We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Field IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operations of their IT systems. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with a diverse team, and make a significant impact on our clients’ businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide on-site technical support to clients, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, network connectivity, and server maintenance.
– Set up and install new systems, including servers, workstations, and peripheral equipment.
– Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime and performance for clients’ systems.
– Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
– Identify and implement solutions for improving system efficiency and productivity.
– Respond to and resolve IT tickets and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
– Train end-users on new technologies and software applications.
– Collaborate with remote teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
– Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities and system configurations.
– Adhere to company security protocols and ensure clients’ systems are protected from cyber threats.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
– Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
– Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
– Experience with server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
– Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Customer-oriented with a passion for providing exceptional IT support.
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
– Proven time-management and multitasking abilities.
– Current CompTIA A certification is preferred.
