Position Overview

The Car Polisher plays a critical role in transforming and enhancing a vehicle’s appearance. This position is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, steady hands, and a genuine passion for keeping cars looking their absolute best. The role involves polishing, waxing, and restoring vehicle exteriors to achieve a showroom-quality finish that impresses our clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Exterior Enhancement

  • Perform cleaning, buffing, and polishing of vehicle exteriors using both manual and powered equipment.

  • Apply waxes, sealants, and protective coatings to extend paint life and maintain a glossy appearance.

  • Remove swirl marks, oxidation, and light scratches from vehicle paintwork.

2. Professional Use of Tools & Products

  • Operate detailing equipment such as rotary buffers, dual-action polishers, microfiber cloths, and specialized polishing compounds.

  • Select and use appropriate products for different paint finishes to achieve the best results.

3. Quality Control

  • Inspect vehicles before and after polishing to ensure high standards are met.

  • Address any imperfections and rework areas if needed to achieve customer satisfaction.

4. Team Collaboration

  • Work with detailing and workshop team members to meet deadlines.

  • Assist other staff when needed to ensure smooth workflow.

5. Workstation Management

  • Keep polishing equipment, tools, and workspace clean, organized, and well-maintained.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors immediately.

6. Customer Service & Professionalism

  • Present yourself in a professional manner to reflect the company’s brand image.

  • Handle vehicles with care and respect at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional car polishing experience (4 years preferred).

  • Ability to work with polishing machines and hand tools.

  • Knowledge of different paint types and polishing techniques.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

  • Ability to commute or relocate to Abu Dhabi before starting work.

Preferred:

  • Previous work experience in a professional detailing or automotive service center.

  • Knowledge of vehicle paint correction and ceramic coating applications.

  • Good teamwork skills and a willingness to learn.
