Job description

We are currently on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Ajman, UAE. If you’re passionate about finance and eager to contribute to a growing retail business, this is the opportunity for you.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting all financial operations, from day-to-day accounting functions to strategic financial planning and compliance. You will play a critical role in ensuring our financial stability and assisting in high-level decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
• Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and financial regulations
• Assist in internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior finance team members
• Work closely with various departments to optimize operational costs and improve profitability
• Utilize ERP systems (preferably SAP) for data entry, financial reporting, and decision-making support

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the retail sector
• Solid understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting techniques
• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance
• Proficient in ERP systems, with a strong preference for SAP
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
