About the Role

As a Financial Analyst, you will help ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations for Google’s Indian entities. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), tax laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage external audits and assist with tax compliance across multiple Google India entities.
- Collaborate with business partners including Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Financial Planning to support accounting operations.
- Prepare and present clear, data-backed financial insights to various stakeholders including auditors, finance leadership, and regional teams.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of local books and records.
- Identify financial risks and propose process improvements to support Google’s commitment to operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or treasury, particularly in cross-functional roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- CA or CPA certification.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), strong spreadsheet proficiency, and working knowledge of SQL.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage tasks independently within larger projects and work collaboratively across international teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and ability to communicate findings to executive stakeholders.
