Role Overview
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager at ZEE5, you will play a crucial role in driving data-backed decisions that shape platform growth, content strategy, user retention, and marketing effectiveness. You’ll collaborate across product, tech, and marketing teams to convert data into actionable intelligence, helping ZEE5 stay ahead in a dynamic digital entertainment ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- 📊 Content & Platform Analytics: Analyze large datasets to track viewer behavior, content engagement, retention, and conversion trends.
- 💡 Marketing Intelligence: Provide insights to inform campaign design, digital outreach, and content promotions.
- 🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, tech, and marketing teams to align data-driven strategies with business goals.
- 🚀 Tech-Enabled Features: Contribute to feature development by offering insights on user journeys, content discovery patterns, and UX optimization.
- 🔁 Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on BI tools, media consumption trends, and OTT analytics to evolve and scale analytics frameworks.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong command over SQL for querying large-scale data warehouse tables.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with Python or R and a foundational understanding of machine learning is a plus.
- Proven experience (4–6 years) in BI or analytics roles, preferably in OTT, media, or consumer-tech.
- Strategic thinking paired with a results-driven mindset.
- Strong communication skills for delivering insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
