Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst (Senior Manager / Chief Manager) to join our Special Projects team. This role serves as the critical link between business/operations and technology partners—driving the end-to-end implementation of new functionalities, system enhancements, and product launches. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and hands-on experience in business requirement gathering, UAT, and project delivery. This is a cross-functional role with significant visibility across departments such as Sales, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and IT.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a bridge between business/operations teams and technology vendors to deliver system functionalities, resolve defects, and deploy new features.
- Analyze business needs, assess the impact of changes, and gather detailed functional requirements across departments.
- Draft comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and detailed Test Cases.
- Translate business needs into functional and system specifications for technology teams.
- Manage and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT); ensure sign-off from stakeholders for production deployment.
- Support the implementation and rollout of new system releases or enhancements.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project status and risks.
- Maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), to build a process-oriented work culture.
- Liaise with cross-functional IT teams to ensure timely delivery of interlinked project elements.
- Continuously evaluate system automation opportunities to optimize business workflows.
Key Challenges
- Interpreting complex business processes and translating them into actionable, tech-aligned deliverables.
- Managing multi-stakeholder communication and aligning different business units toward shared outcomes.
- Balancing business urgency with thorough documentation, testing, and release validation.
- Ensuring delivery of defect-free, scalable system enhancements within tight timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or techno-functional project role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Computer Applications (B.Sc / B.E. / MCA).
- Proven track record in requirement elicitation, documentation, UAT coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Legal.
- Strong documentation and process standardization capabilities.
- Familiarity with project management tools and system implementation lifecycles.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to convey complex topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
