Position Summary We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager / Travel Executive to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role aligned with UK working hours, offering a unique opportunity to engage with a global customer base. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in global reservation systems, air travel protocols, and customer service best practices. Key Responsibilities Manage air travel bookings and reservations for global clients using GDS platforms such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo. Provide expert travel consultation and itinerary planning based on client preferences. Handle international and domestic ticketing, fare calculations, and travel documentation. Maintain strong customer relationships by providing prompt, professional service via phone, email, or live chat. Coordinate with airline representatives and vendors to ensure smooth booking and after-sales processes. Ensure compliance with IATA, airline fare rules, and international travel regulations. Support the management team in supervising junior staff and optimizing operational workflow. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in airline ticketing or travel consultancy. Certified in IATA, Airline Fares & Ticketing, or a related qualification. Proficient in at least one major GDS system (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo). Sound knowledge of global geography and international travel routes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and fluency in Sinhala and/or Tamil.
