Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and digitally savvy Assistant Manager – Social Commerce to lead our influencer-driven content and commerce strategy. This role will be instrumental in expanding Fabindia’s social presence, building influencer partnerships, and driving revenue through shoppable content across digital platforms.

You will act as the key point of contact for influencer collaborations and help build a powerful content-to-commerce pipeline across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and our own brand app. This position requires a deep understanding of fashion/lifestyle social trends and a strategic mindset to align community building with business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

🔹 Influencer Marketing & Strategy

  • Identify, recruit, and manage influencer partners across micro, nano, mini, and large tiers.
  • Develop engaging, brand-aligned influencer-led content that drives traffic and conversions.
  • Coordinate content calendars and ensure campaign timelines are met.

🔹 Content-to-Commerce Execution

  • Leverage social commerce tools such as Instagram Shopping, live shopping events, reels, and brand-led social series.
  • Integrate shoppable features seamlessly into content for maximum engagement and ease of purchase.
  • Promote and curate user-generated content on the Fabindia website and mobile app to enhance community engagement.

🔹 Campaign Performance & Optimization

  • Track and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns using engagement, reach, click-through, and conversion metrics.
  • Use data to refine strategies, test new formats, and improve ROI.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing or digital content strategy, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or D2C ecommerce.
  • Demonstrated success with social commerce campaigns and influencer collaborations.

Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of social commerce trends and digital engagement strategies.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with influencers and content creators.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically while working under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Shopify/CRM tools, and influencer discovery platforms.
