Role Overview
We are hiring an energetic and performance-driven Area Manager – Operations to lead on-ground operations and store performance for our Pincode business vertical in the Greater Delhi Area. This role demands strategic thinking, team leadership, and a sharp understanding of hyperlocal commerce, combined with operational excellence and hands-on execution.
You will play a key role in managing category growth, catalog accuracy, order fulfillment, merchant relationships, stock audits, and team supervision—all aimed at improving the store performance and customer experience in the assigned territory.
📍 This is a full-time, 6-day on-field role with rotational weekly offs.
Key Responsibilities
📈 Category Expertise & Merchant Management
- Gain deep insights into sectors like Supermarkets, FMCG, Healthcare, Lifestyle, and Retail to align store offerings with demand trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local merchants, ensuring product quality, availability, and compliance with operational guidelines.
🏬 Store Operations & Catalog Management
- Ensure timely and accurate product cataloging, including pricing, categorization, and availability updates.
- Conduct stock level monitoring, audits, and quality checks to avoid inventory mismatches.
- Maintain pricing parity by analyzing market trends and competitor pricing.
📦 Order Lifecycle & Fulfillment
- Oversee complete order processing from initiation to delivery.
- Ensure adherence to TATs, resolve order-level issues swiftly, and manage customer escalations effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve order management workflows.
👥 Team Leadership & Performance Metrics
- Lead a team of store executives by providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Track and improve key KPIs, including sales, merchant efficiency, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction scores.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, cataloging, or quick commerce operations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
- Bias for action with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
- Exposure to startup ecosystems is a plus.
- Proficient in basic Excel for performance reporting.
- Willingness to travel extensively in the designated territory.
