The Role:

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to develop, implement, and manage our online marketing strategies. You will be pivotal in enhancing our brand presence, engaging our target audiences (both B2C and B2B), and driving sales, with a particular focus on promoting our fast-selling technical equipment through compelling social media campaigns. What You’ll Do:
• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across key platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and potentially TikTok) tailored to our diverse product range and target audiences.
• Create high-quality, engaging, and relevant content (visuals, videos, compelling copy, articles) that showcases our products, particularly technical equipment, and resonates with our community.
• Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to maximize ROI and reach specific customer segments.
• Manage our online community, fostering engagement, responding to inquiries, and building relationships with followers and customers.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social media and website performance using tools like Google Analytics and platform-specific insights, providing actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate on SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility for our e-commerce website.
• Support email marketing initiatives and content creation for our website blog and other digital channels.
• Work closely with our B2B sales team to align digital marketing efforts with their outreach strategies.
• Stay ahead of the curve on emerging digital marketing trends, new platform features, and industry best practices in Sri Lanka and globally.

Who Are You:
• Proven experience (ideally 2+ years) in a social media marketing or digital marketing role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns and content creation.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube are essential).
• Demonstrable skills in content creation, including graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar).
• Proficiency in managing and optimizing paid social media campaigns, particularly using Facebook Ads Manager.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Sinhalese and/or Tamil is a significant advantage.
• A proactive and creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Experience or a strong interest in marketing technical products, industrial goods, or B2B services is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of the Sri Lankan digital landscape, consumer behavior, and market nuances.
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, Business, or a related field is preferred.
