Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant at Scooter Services, located in Negombo. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also includes budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
• Financial management skills such as managing financial transactions and preparing financial statements
• Auditing and account reconciliation skills
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis capabilities
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as AAT or ICA is a plus
