About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Manager – Merchandising (E-commerce) with deep expertise in driving growth across D2C websites in the fashion and lifestyle category. This role demands a strategic thinker with a sharp commercial instinct, who can manage range planning, forecasting, site merchandising, and cross-functional coordination to deliver on KPIs such as gross margins, sell-through rates, and inventory health.

You will be the key business driver across online platforms, combining analytical rigor with fashion sense to ensure product-market fit and optimal digital presentation.


Key Responsibilities

📈 Range Planning & Forecasting

  • Own the seasonal range plan and forecasting across categories and subcategories.
  • Track weekly, monthly, and seasonal sell-through to evaluate assortment performance.
  • Monitor and drive KPIs around gross margins, inward plans, inventory turn, and availability.

👟 Product & Trend Alignment

  • Work with design and sourcing teams to ensure assortments align with market trends and brand positioning.
  • Analyze market research and trend data to guide assortment and pricing decisions.

💼 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with sourcing to ensure timely deliveries aligned with forecast.
  • Coordinate with design teams to influence product development based on business analytics and margin targets.
  • Engage with marketplace partners and internal listing teams to ensure timely listing, tagging, and product visibility during campaigns.

🛍 Site & Marketplace Merchandising

  • Oversee site merchandising—keyword mapping, category tagging, redirection hygiene, etc.
  • Ensure marketplace hygiene, product live status, campaign setup, and performance tracking are consistently executed.

🔍 Data Analysis & Competitive Intelligence

  • Analyze internal sales data and market trends to optimize merchandising strategies.
  • Continuously benchmark against competitors for pricing, assortment, and website experience enhancements.

🔄 Systems & Process Optimization

  • Ensure procedural discipline—implement issue resolution, escalations, and settlement protocols.
  • Support global teams by aligning on digital requirements and merchandising calendar.
