Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our Project Sales team. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in project-based B2B sales, key account management, and channel partnerships within the building materials or construction industry.
As a KAM, you will be responsible for driving business growth by managing key accounts, acquiring new high-potential customers across segments such as Real Estate, EPC contractors, and Industrial clients, and ensuring healthy funnel management for consistent sales achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing key accounts while acquiring new high-potential customers in sectors like Real Estate, EPC, and Industrial projects
- Develop and maintain a robust sales funnel and order book to ensure consistent revenue growth across the assigned region
- Ensure dealer and applicator sufficiency and effectiveness to meet business goals and budgeted targets
- Strengthen client relationships and drive share-of-wallet through performance metrics and relationship index tracking
- Finalize contracts with key stakeholders such as EPCs and large accounts and onboard suitable applicators and subcontractors to improve win rates
- Ensure timely collections through effective follow-up with applicators and dealers
- Represent the company in key presentations, conferences, and events to reinforce value propositions and technical expertise
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in Project Sales and Channel Business Management
- Strong exposure to Key Account Management (KA) in the building materials domain
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with senior decision-makers
- Experience working in a self-contributor role with the ability to manage high-value B2B clients
- Strong understanding of application-based or technical products
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and technical services
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Experience in handling application-driven, technical building products
- Exposure to product demonstrations and solution-based selling
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
