Key Responsibilities
• Assist the class teacher in setting up the classroom environment.
• Provide individualized support to children with additional learning needs.
• Offer phonics support to children within the class.
• Help clear the classroom at the end of each day.
• Provide intervention support to children struggling academically.
• Assist children with their reading and writing skills.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Prior experience working in a classroom, preferably with primary children.
• A genuine passion for children’s learning and development.
• Recent experience working with children in an educational or similar setting.
• A level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to undergo a new one.
• Ability to provide professional references covering the last two years of work.
