Job Summary

We are seeking a Cashier to join our dynamic team at Autoplus Bodyshop. The Cashier will be the face of the company for many customers, responsible for handling payments and ensuring smooth checkout processes. Accuracy, professionalism, and excellent customer service skills are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service:
  Greet customers warmly as they enter and leave the establishment, providing a friendly and professional first and last impression.

• Processing Payments:
  Receive payments from customers using cash, checks, credit/debit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.

• Invoice Management:
  Prepare and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change accurately to customers.

• Cash Handling:
  Count cash in drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure correct amounts and sufficient change.

• Pricing & Billing:
  Identify and verify prices of goods and services. Use calculators, cash registers, or price scanners to total bills accurately.

• Customer Complaints:
  Listen to customer concerns, resolve complaints where possible, and provide clear guidance or escalate to management as necessary.

• Compliance & Cleanliness:
  Maintain a clean and safe checkout area, complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations at all times.

• Policy Adherence:
  Follow all checkout operation policies and procedures, suggesting improvements to management as needed.

• Ad-Hoc Tasks:
  Assist with various administrative or operational tasks as assigned by the Accounts Manager or supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications

To succeed as a Cashier at Autoplus Bodyshop, you should have:

• Educational Qualification: Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in cashier or front-desk roles, preferably within the automotive industry.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems, billing software, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Numerical Accuracy: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling money and data.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.

• Personal Traits: Honest, reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
