Do you love Sri Lanka and sharing it with others? As a Tour Guide with Intrepid, you get the opportunity to share your country and culture with travelers from all over the world and create unforgettable memories by hosting and teaching tours. You’ll monitor the safety and well-being of your travelers, ultimately ensuring an overall successful operation of each trip.
To be considered, you must have:
✓ All Island National Tour Guide License with full rights to work across Sri Lanka
✓ Excellent communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to communicate with people from different cultures and backgrounds
✓ Great availability during our peak seasons to lead our trips
What we need to know:
✓ We are recruiting for leaders in our trips from July 2025 onwards
✓ This is a freelance-contract position
✓ With extended hours, lots of walking and activities, it’s important that you are prepared both physically and mentally for the challenge!
✓ You’ll need the ability to travel and spend time away from home, as our global clients often travel for extended periods at a time and some tours can span up to four weeks.
