Vacancy for the Position of Assistant Accountant
Company Profile:
The Bansei Group of Companies, with its headquarters in Japan, has established a local company to oversee its operations in Sri Lanka, including hotels and investment portfolios, with plans for future expansion. The local office is located at the World Trade Center, Colombo 01, to manage and administer business operations in Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management accounts
- Cash handling and banking transactions
- Managing investment income, payments, as well as accounts payable and receivable
- Handling external audit and tax audit
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cash flow management
- Reporting financial details to both local and foreign top management
Required Qualifications:
- BSc. Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Age between 25-30 years
- Partly qualified / Final level in CA/ CIMA/ ACCA
- 3-5 years’ experience in auditing/ accountancy and finance
- Knowledge of taxation
- Knowledge of Quick Books and MS Excel is a must
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to achieve deadlines with minimum supervision
